1. Ninpo Scroll & The Eight Gates
 
* How to Unlock
After reaching Lv.40, Ninjas can go to the Job Center and find Saizo with the help of the Job Promo Teleporter. Saizo has a series of inspiring trials for Ninjas and will help them unlock the Ninpo Scroll in the process of completing these trials.
The Eight Gates of Dawn, Rest, Life, Pain, Limit, View, Shock, and Death on the Ninpo Scroll will also open upon completion of these trials.
 
 
 
Sage Mode
When all the Eight Gates open and all the sigils embedded reach Level 3, Ninja can activate a mode called Sage which provides considerable attribute bonuses. As the sigils embedded upgrade, the Sage mode will also get enhanced.
 
 
2. Ninjutsu Sigils
 
* Sigil Embedding
By embedding ninjutsu sigils into the Eight Gates, Ninja will acquire brand-new ninjutsu with astonishing power. Some quests in the Bounty Hall offer such sigils as reward.

Enhance the skill [Wild Fireball]: Weakens the targets of [Wild Fireball] by reducing their [Toxin Eraser] effect for a period of time.

Flame Sigil
Dawn, Pain, View
Acquire the active skill [Flame of Destruction]: Deals fixed damage per second to the targets within the range for a certain period of time. The damage will not kill the targets.
Flame Sigil (Rage)
Rest, Life, Limit, Shock, Death
Enhance the skill [Flame of Destruction]: Burns the targets of [Flame of Destruction] and reduces their HP per second. The damage will not kill the targets.
Flame Sigil (Scorch)

Enhance the skill [Flame of Destruction]: Shortens the cooldown of [Flame of Destruction]
Prison Sigil
Dawn, Pain, View
Acquire the active skill [Water Prison]: Prisons the targets within the range to cause damage. Meanwhile, attaches Prisoner status to them to reduce the effect of their healing potion.
Prison Sigil (Fatigue)
Rest, Life, Limit, Shock, Death
Enhance the skill [Water Prison]: Reduces the Stamina of the targets of [Water Prison].

Dragon Sigil

Acquire the active skill [Water Shockwave]: Releases a waterspout to deal fixed damage per second to the targets around the caster for a period of time, and then summons a water dragon to attack the targets on the direction specified to cause damage.
Dragon Sigil (Billow)
Rest, Life, Limit, Shock, Death
Enhance the skill [Water Shockwave]: Extends the range of the waterspout released by [Water Shockwave] and also increase the damage per second caused by the waterspout.
Dragon Sigil (Fading)

Enhance the skill [Water Shockwave]: Has a chance to kick the targets of the water dragon summoned by [Water Shockwave] into the air.
Sickle Sigil

Acquire the active skill [Sickle Wind]: Generates a tornado to cause damage per second in the target area for a period of time.

Enhance the skill [Sickle Wind]: When [Sickle Wind] is causing damage, has a chance to remove the targets’ positive status and remove negative status from the caster and allies.

Whirl Sigil

Acquire the active skill [Whirl Shuriken]: Throws a whirling shuriken against the targets on the direction specified to cause damage. Meanwhile, enhances the caster’s P-Strike.

Enhance the skill [Whirl Shuriken]: Enhances the effect of [Whirl Shuriken] with extra Strike Rate and critical damage bonus.
Whirl Sigil (Aura)

Enhance the skill [Whirl Shuriken]: Tears apart the targets of [Whirl Shuriken] to deal consecutive damage which increases gradually during a period of time.
Kylin Sigil

Acquire the active skill [Lightning Kylin]: Calls down lightning bolts to strike enemies. There are 3 grades of damage based on the energy channeled.

Enhance the skill [Lightning Kylin]: Increases the grade-2 and grade-3 damages caused by [Lightning Kylin].
Kylin Sigil (Seal)
Rest, Life, Limit, Shock, Death
Enhance the skill [Lightning Kylin]: Has a chance to disable the target of [Lightning Kylin] from using potions for a period of time.
Slash Sigil
Dawn, Pain, View
Acquire the active skill [Lightning Slash]: Creates a residual image to move forward and strike in a flash, causing %.2f%% damage to the targets in a straight line and additional Break effect.
Slash Sigil (Prowess)
Rest, Life, Limit, Shock, Death
Enhance the skill [Lightning Slash]: Drains HP from the targets of [Lightning Slash] per second based on their Max HP. Lasts for a period of time. The damage will not kill the targets.
Slash Sigil (Flash)
Rest, Life, Limit, Shock, Death
Enhance the skill [Lightning Slash]: Further increases the Break bonus of [Lightning Slash] for a period of time.
Mud Sigil
Dawn, Pain, View
Acquire the active skill [Mud Wall]: Increases both the P-Defense and M-Defense of the caster for a period of time during which the caster has a chance to avoid damage when attacked.
Mud Sigil (Impeccable)
Rest, Life, Limit, Shock, Death
Enhance the skill [Mud Wall]: If the caster is attacked when [Mud Wall] is still effective, increases the chance to avoid damage.
Mud Sigil (Solidity)

Enhance the skill [Dust Detachment]: Shortens the cooldown of [Dust Detachment]. Meanwhile, extends both the range and duration of [Dust Detachment].
Dust Sigil (Stun)

Enhance the skill [Dust Detachment]: Grants [Dust Detachment] a chance to stun the target per attack.
Sigil of Paper Dance

Acquire the passive skill [Paper Dance]: Has a =chance to trigger [Paper Dance] upon death. If triggered, it`ll fully recover the caster and revive him/her in the same place. Meanwhile, apply the effects of [Stigma], [Star of Accuracy], and [Magic Shield].
Sigil of Hell Vortex
Limit, Death
Acquire the passive skill [Hell Vortex]: Has a chance to trigger [Hell Vortex] under attack. Deals damage to the targets around at certain time intervals and kick them away.
Sigil of Infinite Mist
Limit, Death
Acquire the passive skill [Infinite Mist]: When attacked, has a chance to trigger [Infinite Mist] to blind the target.
Sigil of Heaven’s Wonder
Limit, Death
Acquire the passive skill [Heaven’s Wonder]: When attacked, has a chance to trigger [Heaven’s Wonder] to enable the caster to ignore all the attacks for a period of time and strike back to cause normal damage.
Sigil of Bone Pulse
Limit, Death
Acquire the passive skill [Bone Pulse]: When launching attacks, has a chance to trigger [Bone Pulse] to ignore a certain percentage of the target’s Tortoise Gem effect.

Arcane Essence can be used to upgrade the level of Ninjutsu Sigil.
 
 
 
* How to Collect Arcane Essences
 
The repeating sigil you received will be melted into such essence automatically.

* Basic Elemental Ninjutsu
 
The ninjutsu of different elemental nature has different focuses. Ninjas can select skills according to their own needs.
Fire Release: high attack focused
Wild Fireball: deals damage in a straight line
Flame of Destruction: deals consecutive damage to a certain area
Water Release: negative status focused
Water Prison: deals damage to a small area and disables from using healing potion
Water Shockwave: attack skill
Wind Release: critical strike focused
Whirl Shuriken: deals damage in a straight line and extra critical damage
Sickle Wind: deals consecutive damage to a certain area and remove status
Earth Release: defense focused
Mud Wall: increases defense and also the chance of damage dodge
Dust Detachment: deals consecutive damage to a certain area
Lightning Release: break focused
Lightning Kylin: deals damage to a single target
Lightning Slash: deals damage in a straight line and adds Break bonus
 
3. Ninjutsu Aptitude
 
* Aptitude Function
 
Aptitude can be developed for five kinds of elemental jutsu: Fire Release, Water Release, Earth Release, Wind Release, and Lightning Release. The Ninja wining 1st place in any of the ninjutsu rankings will receive special headwear and also Dash bonus. (Dash attribute gives a chance to increase all the non-critical damage by 25%, excluding fixed damage.)
 
 
* Calculation of the Ninpo Score
 
The final Ninpo Score is the sum of your scores on all the ninjutsu styles including Fire Release, Water Release, Earth Release, Wind Release, Lightning Release, and Bloodline. The score on each ninjusu style is calculated as:
Total Original Sigil Scores for Current Style*[(500+Aptitude for Current Style)/500].
There is no aptitude for Bloodline style.
