And a few more questions about the artifacts

The artifacts? I love them. I think I get ALMOST as many hehehehe

GM:
Yeah I could tell that from your equipments. They are awesome. So how does the function actually impact on your gameplay?

MayoWulf:
Well when I first got artifacts applied, I noticed a significant difference in my defense and attack.  It then became a very high priority to acquire as many artifacts as possible and be on the leading edge of that effectiveness scale. The robe artifacts are great for my defense and magic attack, and the backsword is awesome. I think that many people say the taos are overpowered because of that backsword effects, but once it becomes mainstream to get those artifacts and most people have them, then it will balance out again smoothly. I also LOVE how the new artifacts look on gear. And I can't wait for the next stage with the water dragon! I'm very excited about it

GM:
How could the average players manage to get those high phase stuff...it is so difficult to beat the dragon

MayoWulf:
Teamwork. Well first off. From how I understand it, there are monsters at every level that drop dragon souls, In bird, bulls, etc, so if they can improve the phase by acquiring multiples of the items, as I THINK it can in the next stage, then that is the answer. But also, we have many people in my guild for example, and our alliance, well, we form teams, with mostly vets and high BP strong chars. we, the strong chars, want the study points, so we have the lesser BP players come join us, and we kill the dragon together. Our rules are, if you summon, you get the drop, no matter who kills it. We get the benefit of the study points and the lesser BP chars get our help an a dragon soul. So with help from your guild, or allies, or friends, it can be done.  Its all about teamwork.

GM:
Excellent! Then everyone gets what they want. Very helpful tips! You need some high BP friends first, though

MayoWulf:
Yes, it just takes cooperation and teamwork. Together, it's not so hard, it's not impossible even without.

GM:
Well, okay... I think I've taken u for too long....better let u back to game... oh, last question...do u have any expectation for artifacts?

MayoWulf:
Oh I think the low phase get used too. But from what I understand, in next expansion, you can up the level of your phase by adding another item of the same type, and upping the phase, just what I hear rumors about, the ability to upgrade the phase in next stage of expansion. If I have a level 3 phase artificact, and say go kill another dragon, and another phase 3 drops, then I can use the dropped phase 3 artifact to perhaps level my existing item to phase 4.

EXACTLY like that, that's what I am thinking yes! So even the, umm, lower spending players would have a chance at it. Other than that, no more expectations, I think they are great. And I also think it's great that CO designed this quest so that it is easy for nobody, but can be accomplished by anybody! Well Done!! Seriously, it's my favorite expansion so far. Super Job!
