[Stories] Love Story - In The Rain
In the Rain (Introduction)
Saori looked out the window of her room. Today she was to leave for Rtarien City. People around here called it the rainy city. They say that the rain never stops there, and you can lose your soul in sorrow because of it. Saori didn't want to go, not yet, but she had promised her teacher that she would pass on his lessons to others and she would have to travel to do so.
She arose from her window seat and walked over to the cherry wood vanity that stood propped against the south wall of the bedroom. As she walked the floor creaked and moaned just like a old log house would. She sat down at the vanity and looked at herself in the mirror. He long wavy brown hair whisper around her shoulders and over the front of her blue silk gown. Every witch of her stature wore the same gown, but on her it was ravishing, since it matched the color of her deep blue eyes perfectly. Just then there came a knock on the bedroom door and her husband Ichirou stepped into the room.
"Saori" he spoke softly, "are you ready to go yet? We have to leave before it gets too late or you won't make it to Rtarien City before dark."
"Yes dear," she sighed, "I am ready."
"Alright then, let's get going." He responded.
Saori took a long look at Ichirou. He was so handsome. She loved how his large stature overpowered any room and how his blonde hair and dark eyes made her swoon. She did not want to leave him behind. She was so sad she had to go, with no one to accompany her all the way, but Ichirou had other matter of state he had to tend to. There was a war beginning between their allies of the Lifallo nation in the north and the Natoob nation to the west. The Natoob nation was known to be a ruthless nation, but thankfully they had not tried to invade the Wuta nation, her home, yet.
Unfortunately, many villages were being ransacked in the Lifallo nation by the Natoobians and as allies the Wuta nation vowed to help protect Lifallo. So, Ichirou was going to meet up with Saori later on when he had tended to his own matters.
Saori bid farewell to her little log home, and she had no idea what the future held in store for her. She hoped though, that it would be exciting and she would meet new people. She only knew she was starting on a journey, where it would take her was a mystery.
