[Tips] Setsuko's Moon Box Guide Part 1

Hello everyone, glad I am able to find some time to write another guide for you. I am still working on my trojan guide,it's taken me a while since I want to make sure I squeeze everything I knowto be as thorough as possible. Here is a guide on making moon boxes.

There are several different strategies you can use. There are some people that make 6 different accounts, then stock up 40 of each token, throw it on one account and repeat until they basically have 40 moon boxes. Honestly, unless you are absolutely buffed out to the max on equipment, this seems like a waste of time,or an almost impossible task for the average player. That is a brief overview of that strategy, and I will go into detail of a more realistic strategy that an average player can manage.

"First of all, what is a moon box? What does it do? What can it be used for?"

A moon box is an item that when you open or use,you can receive a random prize, ranging from refined, unique, elite equipment,or a number of meteors (4 is the most I've gotten.) Some of the equipment may have a socket, but it is a rare thing. A moon box is a required item for promotion at level 110,and in exchange you get a Dragon ball.(Side note- The Astral Box from Labyrinth level 4 quest is similar to a moon box, only instead of equipment, there's a chance of getting normal, refined,or super gems,a Dragon Ball,or a number of meteors.)

"What do I need to do in preparation? Where do I start or how do I do this quest?"

First of all,the site, last time I check said that everyone level 70 and up can do this quest. Honestly, level 70 will die at this quest,or it will take so long you will gauge your eyes out and cut off your fingers before you get a token. Recommended level is 110 and up. And my opinion is at 110,when you go there for your promotion, make one moon box and quit until 120. At 120,you should be doing sufficient amounts of damage to get done in a reasonable amount of time. Warriors and Trojans are your best choices for this quest,Archers and Fire Tao may have a harder time, and Melee Water Tao should be alright.

Equipment,as always,is a big factor too. Armor is not the case here though,it's weapons, and ring. Your weapon choices do not matter to me,but just be warned that you are going to need at least 2 refined dragon gems if you're a warrior,or 4 if you're a Trojan. If you're desperate for gems, find cheap unique socket armor in the market and get a dragon gem for it. The key is killing a lot of monsters and fast. Once you've got your equipment in order, buy a Twin City scroll, and head for the conductress. Use the Ape Mountain warp, and move directly north until you run into a shack with an NPC in front of it named Fortuneteller,he will warp you to the map with the NPC ghost Maggie. Speak with her,and you're ready to go!

"Explain how this is supposed to work!"

This is they way the quest works. There are 8 tactics or areas;

Peace

Prosperous

Chaos

Calmed

Deserted

Disturbed

Death

Life

After you're done with Maggie she will warp you to a random tactic,EXCEPT LIFE TACTIC. You will need to fight Tough Horn in the first six tactics listed, and get their respective token, with the exception of Death Tactic. If you warp to Death Tactic, unfortunately unless you have all six tokens from the first six on the list, you cannot leave and must die in order to be warped out. If you don't meet the requirement, then let the tough horns kill you. Trojans, wait for Golem, and transform, you'll be dead before you know it. Warriors....sorry if you want to die quick, you can risk removing your helmet, until your HP is low, then walking away from the computer until you're dead,or hope someone comes by and PK you. But if you do have all six tokens, then speak with the ghost in the top right corner of death tactic, and he will send you to Life Tactic with a Soul Stone which is not trade able . In Life tactic, there are numerous ghost NPC here that are asking for your help. Whatever you do,do not refuse to help,or they will take your Stone, and you just lost a Moon box, choose which Ghost you want and agree to help him. You'll have the choice of 3 meteors,or a Moon Box. Since this is the Moon box guide, take the Moon Box and not the meteors and you will be sent back to Maggie.

(It is rumored that some ghosts are more lucky than others,or that certain ghosts will give a series of different items. I have had particularly good luck with a certain ghost, which coordinates will remain hidden,in getting Elite boots, necklace and rings, but again,I've had my fair share worth of crap from it too.) Whether you want to open the Moon Box,sell it,drop it,play with it,what ever.
