[Tips] Setsuko's Weapon FAQ Part 2

I was sick of seeing everyone be totally unoriginal by using club, sword, or blade when the point of having 15 different weapons (excluding backsword and bow again, sorry)is to promote diversity in weapon usage. I wrote to CO about this very subject, and I won't include it in this guide, but if you want to know, email me, with what server you are from and I'll forward you a copy of what I wrote.

Same rating system will be used:

Damage(Dmg): High, Mid, Average, Low

Dexterity(Dex): High, Average, Mid-Average, Low.

List of One handed weapons:

Blade, Hook, Whip, Axe, Hammer, Club, Scepter, Dagger, Sword

(Backsword is one handed, but warriors/trojan/reborn melee waters will most likely not be using them.)

Blade:

Skill Fast Blade Range: Line Skill Damage: =Current weapon strength Activation: at will (drains stamina)

Weapon Damage: High/Mid Dex: Average

Blade is great weapon to have. If you are a warrior or reborn melee water, it's a good pk weapon. It serves as a secondary weapon for Trojans, or they use 2 blades for PKing (being able to use hercules and fast blade.) It's also used in the TG to help level faster by being able to hit two stakes or scarecrows. Blade was made for PKing, and still handy while leveling if used as a secondary weapon. Fast Blade is easy to level, but being able to use it in PKing takes timing and aim. People often refer to this as skill. If someone's brags that they have a lot of "skill" it just means they have really good eye/hand

coordination from most likely playing too many video games or they do other activities that have to deal with eye/hand coordination. Blades are expensive since they are mainly used for PKing.

 

Hook:

Skill Seizer Range: Close Skill Damage: 105%-114% (1% per level increase) Activation: 15%-30% (Lo-1 4% L2-3 2% L4-9 1% increase)

Weapon Damage: High/Mid Dex: Mid

Hook is a good, but less noticed weapon just like Whip is. Hook damage is slightly less than Blade, but have more Dex than blade does. The reason it is a less noticed weapon is because it's skill is hard to level, and does not have a great damage boost. I could tell you numbers, but I'll let you research it yourself like I did. Just know that before you compare hook to

blade, that I compared super 130 Hook to super 130 Blade, and I am not including gem or plus modifications as they would vary

from weapon to weapon. Find the difference (that's subtraction) between each of it's stats, High attack, low attack, and dex.

Hooks are very inexpensive, but I think that they may go up slightly in price due to this guide being so informative.=D

 

Whip:

Skill Roamer Range: close 180 degrees Skill Damage: 90%-108% (2% per level increase) Activation: 20%-45% (3% per level

increase, L9 2% increase)

Weapon Damage: MidAverage Dex: High

Whip is another good weapon that has been shunned like Hook. Whip has slightly less power than Sword, and slightly less dex than Sword. It's skill Roamer is the only other one handed weapon that hits in a range effect, which is good, but bad because the skill was made to actually lower your attack power, until the skill becomes level 5, then gives you 100% of your damage

back. Because whip has an awesome dex rating, it can be used in some good trojan weapon combo's for leveling, which I'll

explain soon.

 

Axe:

Axe Skill Earthquake Range: Close Skill Damage: Stuns the target (doesn't work in pvp?) Activation: 10%-28% (2% per level increase)

Weapon Damage: High/Low Dex: Low

Axe is a powerful one handed weapon that literally has a damage difference to Club by 1 to 2 (high/low - seriously, check for

yourself) It skill Earthquake will stun a single target briefly. I believe the stun time goes up as it's level increases. It's not hard to get the skill fixed, a couple of days or a week even and it will be fixed. I know some trojans who use 2 axes to PK with, which is fine in my book, even the loud noise when you swing can scare a PKer off. Not a bad weapon in my opinion and they can be used as an alternative leveling weapon. I believe this skill used to work in PVP back in 1.0, at least it work for me when I was testing the skill on my trojan back then. If you could confirm this, email me, but not too much, nothing like a little email flooding? Axes are usually cheap to a fair price.

 

Hammer:

Hammer Skill Boom Range: Close Skill Damage: Stuns the target (doesn't work in pvp?) Activation: 10%-28% (2% per level increase)

Weapon Damage: High/Low Dex: Low

Did you read my description for Axe? They are exactly alike. As before, email me and let me know if Boom works. in PVP.

Club:

Club Skill Rage Range: Close 360 degrees Skill Damage: L0-3 110% L4-8 140% L9 145% Activation: 20%-45% (3%per level increase)

Weapon Damage: High/Low Dex: Low

Club is by far the most efficient one handed weapon. It has high damage, and a skill that will hit in 360 degrees, hitting everything surrounding you. This is a great tool for leveling, and effective in PKing. Most people will use a club, followed

by another club, or Sword/Blade for PKing. Since club is the most effective one handed weapon, it is usually the most

expensive weapon you'll find on your server. But just remember that there's more than just Club, Blade and Sword, so be original and choose a weapon for yourself (Unless you're a warrior, then your choice leveling weapons are limited to Club and

Whip.)

Scepter

Scepter Skill Celestial Range: Close Skill Damage: 110%-128%/Poison(?) (2% per level increase) Activation: 10%-19% (1% per level increase)

Weapon Damage: High/Low Dex: Low

Scepter is equally powerful to club in weapon strength. In my whole time in using scepter, I haven't really notice poison

activate, I think maybe once, but it might have been a mirage. Celestial is difficult to level, and at level 9, the damage of Celestial is alright. Scepters are usually pretty cheap because they're not used very often.

Dagger

Dagger Skill Penetration Range: Close Skill Damage: 150%-240% (10% per level increase) Activation: 10%-15% (Lo-1 10%, L2-3

11%, L4-5 12%, L6-7 13%, L8 14%, L9 15%)

Weapon Damage: Average/Low Dex:High

Dagger is a unique weapon. When you use it with a low dex weapon, you'll notice that your accuracy almost doubles along with

your weapon speed. This is because dagger has the high dex of all the weapons. Take a look at a Super Blood Dagger level 120.

212 dex is huge, as well as the whopping 240% damage that Penetration has to offer at level 9. Although, these two ups have their downs. The damage on dagger is also the weakest of all the other weapons, and penetration is also the hardest skill to

level. I think the purpose of dagger is to compliment a weapon like Club that has low dex. Stand alone, or two daggers, would not be very effective. Daggers are usually cheap to inexpensive.

Sword

Sword Skill Scent Sword Range: Line Skill Damage: =Current weapon strength Activation: at will (drains stamina)

Sword Skill Phoenix Range: Close (Splash Damage when fixed?) Skill Damage: 115%-124% (1% per level increase) Activation:

33%-78% (5% per level increase)

Weapon Damage: Mid/Average Dex: High

Sword as several advantages. First of all, it has the second highest dex of all other weapons, it has 2 skills; one for

regular leveling, and then one for PKing or defending yourself, and Phoenix has the highest activation rate of 78% when it is

level 9. I was told that once phoenix becomes level 9, it'll do splash damage, I'm not sure of this because I particularly got bored with it after level 5. If someone has fixed phoenix, email me and confirm this. With decent attack power, Sword

makes a great all around weapon to use. Sword prices are usually fair to really expensive. If you plan on buying one, then make sure you get a good deal.
