The peace that exists between each server lingers for yet another month, before the coming of the new expansion, Rise of the Kingdoms. The CO team has talked over the last month about what can be expected in next big update, yet there are still details to provide. As the sound of trumpets is heard from afar, the time for war and struggle draws near!
People may ask, "How does a kingdom come into being?" In fact, each server will become their own kingdom when the new expansion is released, and several kingdoms will form a world of their own in Conquer. When that day comes, the voting for the Emperor will follow. Players in each server will cast their votes for the hero they believe in, and follow him to glory! The election of emperor will take place once every week, and the players will be given votes based on the exploits they gain. The more exploits you have, the more votes you can cast. At the end, the one who receive the most votes will be crowned as the Emperor of the Kingdom!
Other than the Emperor, who is crowned through the vote of the people, there'll be Premiers, Marshals, the Four Generals, and Palace Guards, which will be appointed by the chosen emperor. Players who are appointed to one of these positions will take on great responsibilities, and be tasked with the duty of maintaining the kingdom, especially the Treasury.
The Treasury, where the wealth of the land is stored, will be placed at the center of Twin City. This will make Twin City one of the biggest battlefields for the Kingdom Wars. Also, the Treasury is the reason that quests and bounties will operate smoothly, and the land prosperous. Then there comes the question of where does this treasure come from, and where does it go? People of the kingdom can donate to the Treasury, or do quests in The Realm, where people from other kingdoms can voyage out and raid other kingdoms, during the wars. When a kingdom becomes affluent and the Treasury grows, the Emperor can fund Kingdom Quests for his people, and the rewards for the quests in The Realm will come from Treasury, too.
