December Updates Preview - Texas Hold'em & Christmas

During November, Conquer Online has provided the player community with a string of fabulous new features & events which are all in the theme of Thanksgiving. Happy time always slips away quickly and now we are about to enter December. For the last month of 2009, Conquer Online has even more excitement planned for you, including in-game poker, the new Alternative Equipment system, Clan War and several quests & events.

Let's have a look at what we have for Conquer's splendid Christmas celebration!

Texas Hold'em
The popular poker game Texas Hold'em will come to the world of Conquer Online! Adventurers will confront more fierce conflicts, not on the battlefield but in the CO Royal Casino! The rules of Texas Hold'em are simple: build your best possible five cards hand out of your two pocket cards and the five community cards and the player who shows the best hand wins! The bet is silver only and you can choose to play in Fixed Limit or No Limit.

Alternative Equipment
Choosing the right equipment is critical when encountering diverse types of enemies. Now the new Alternative Equipment system will provide CO players with a flexible solution for changing gear on the fly. The system enables players to prepare 2 sets of gear at the same time, one for leveling and the other for PKing (for example) and switch between the 2 sets freely.

Clan War
The highly-anticipated Clan War is also to be launched in December! The Clan Leaders will be able to lead theirs clan members in daily battles over the 10 maps in Conquer. Winning clans will receive different rewards according to the map and the Clan level.

Labyrinth Permit Quest
The Labyrinth Permit Quest will be released in December. The emperor's prince and princess were kidnapped by a group of Lapidating Mobs who are plotting to usurp the throne. To save the empire from this crisis, the Twin City Captor is recruiting brave adventurers to rescue the 2 royal hostages. In return for rescuing the prince and princess, you will be awarded the Labyrinth Permit, which will allow anyone to enter the Treasure Labyrinth Quest for free!

Note: The quest is postponed to Jan 2010.

Power Arena Quest
The Power Arena will be hosted for experienced adventurers to test their strength and skill. The Power Arena is devided into 7 floors and each floor is guarded by different guardsmen. The Power Arena opens 1 hour daily, and during the open time players can enter the Power Arena to challenge those elite warriors of the empire. After you defeat enough number of guardmen on the certain floor, you will be able to receive your rewards and step to the next floor.

Note: The quest is postponed to Dec 30, 2009.

Christmas Quests & Shopping Rush
To prepare for this year's Christmas, players need to earn Christmas Coins by collecting Christmas candy materials for Santa Claus in Twin City, or planting magical Christmas trees on the yards of their houses. With enough Christmas Coins, you will be able to join in the Christmas party and exchange for special Christmas gifts in Conquer!

The shopping rush will start again for the Christmas Celebration! This time, you can purchase not only epic gear but also rare Demon Boxes. The Demon Boxes contain ancient demons and their treasures. Defeat the demons and you can obtain various rewards, from Exp to tremendous CPs.

Apart from these in-game updates above, the CO team has also prepared various offline events, including Achievement Ranking, Summon Old Friends Bask, Co Comic Storm. etc. Please check CO's December update schedule below:
