Have you heard of Chinese mid-autumn festival? There are many traditions that are observed during this festival, one of which is the making of moon cakes.
Moon cakes are traditionally filled with nuts, mashed red bean paste, lotus-seed paste or Chinese dates, wrapped in a dough-like pastry. Nowadays, there are hundreds varieties of moon cakes on sale a month before the arrival of Moon Festival. You may be curious to know what the moon cakes look like.
