[JTeam] Father's Day: Players' Voice
Source: Author: Techno Posted on: Jun 23 2009 18:52:26 Views:

How would you feel if someday a guy would suddenly ask you if you have a message for your father? Surprised? What would you feel about that guy? Would you think he is weird by asking you that?

Let me tell you how my statistics ended: 3 from 5 people would at least reply back, and 1 from 6 people would agree to answer to your question. A simple question. So probably they feel weird being suddenly asked if they would agree to answer.

Weird introduction, however, Techno was there for Father's Day asking around if players have any message to send to their fathers. Are you curious to find out what they said?

Let's see:

Do you have any message for your father?

*~AleX~*: "Yea...love yah dad...keep bringing money home...and I'll keep spending it...on a more serious note, you've been a great role model and a great dad...keep doing what you're doing.!"

Snoppy: "I just wish my dad will be happy! :) He is beside me and we're having dinner now."
Greetings to your father, Snoppy, from me. Thanks for your message and I hope you and your father will be happy. Let's forward to the next message:

SpoX: "Actually, no I don't..."

Didn't celebrate Father's Day? Not participated in the event in this game...

Wow, didn't celebrate it? Wonder why. Let's see another statistic if we got at this point. Let's see whom do people love most? Their dads or their moms?

The results, based on this discussion in the comment center, shows that the players somehow love their mothers more than their fathers. However, the number of votes does not represent the entire community opinion.

And then we wonder why Father's day is not as popular as some may consider it must be. Maybe this is the reason: Dads are less loved by their children than moms. Or maybe this day is plain and simple not as popular as Mother's Day got after so much time since it was first celebrated.

Let's see some other opinions from our players:

Queena: "Dad, I was never tired of this life and it's not gonna matter if I fall down twice because I know each time I fall, you won't let me hit the ground."

yucax: "I didn't realize being a father is so difficult, therefore I now know what you got through and I appreciate it more."

Hellspawn4599: "Hey big guy, we haven't always been on the best of terms but it's your day and though we've gone through hell and back I still respect you for standing your ground and supporting your family. I love ya pops and now that you're over the hill we should do as much as we can together."

In this situation, is Father's Day celebrated in your country? And if yes, do you celebrate it too? I am waiting for your comments.

Many thanks to Pharos players and also above players who left their messages in the Comment Center. Don't forget that there are lots of offline events still available for you to join. Shells will be awarded if you do well. Good luck. And once again, Happy Father's Day and if the audience allows me, I will let my father a message:

Happy father's day, Dad! Because it is Father's Day in America. I already know you know this, but I think it's the right moment to tell you once again: I love you! I hope we will understand better in the future and I admit that if there wouldn't have been any you, there wouldn't have been also any me. And if there wasn't any me, you wouldn't have who to teach all the things you taught me. Thanks for being you, my father!
