[Tips] Towers and Fans VS. Good Primary Gear

Hi its KILLTROCITY again from Mausoleum server, today I'm going to discuss which is better, Tail's or the crap you usually wear

Now to start, Tail's pretty much threw the game off entirely. Archers hitting 1k's and Trojan's zapping just as much. Now I know most everyone will throw out that having a good Def Tower will guarantee your safety. Uh.. not so much...

I did this little experiment with my friends krAze and Cytorrak. krAze a fire Tao with some decent gear +6-7 2 soc SPG but pretty crappy tail's. he has a +3 no soc fan and a +4 no soc tower. Now i have a +6 ref glory gem tower. +5 ears and +5 armor with a few -3's and 5's. He still did 1075 to me.

You would think the tower would take all the damage. Too bad it doesn't.

Now with my friend Cytorrak, I had his Trojan hit me with a FB with and without my tower. It was around a 2k damage difference.

2k on a Trojan doesn't really matter all that much in my opinion

So then I borrowed is full -5 gear and did it again

From the original like 18k he did it dropped down to around 13-14k.

So that's a good 4-5k drop with full - alone. Yes it's more expensive, but since everyone wants a beefy tower no one cares too much about the - anymore, thus getting it for cheaper.

Potency adds a major factor into this too

If you had full +4 and a +7 tower instead of making that tower +8 adding 1 extra potency onto your char that maybe has 230 pot max, and another 200 damage off, you could instead make your gear +5-6 and add a good 7-14 extra potency on thus decreasing damage due to a higher potency.

Fans really just help fires and archers not Trojan's so much unless they zap. I only zap waters that zap me and flying pests

So all in all I'd say beef up your main gear before tail's because CO is going to throw another update out there that weakens the tail's and look at you with +6 gears while everyone else has +4 and a tower that doesn't work anymore =( frowny face for them.
