Awakening of Monk has been released for several days, and monks are working really hard to get Epic Weapon, such as Ahmed from Titan. Today we’re honored to have him with us to share his experience in Monk Epic Quest.
Rex(R):Greetings, Ahmed, congratulations on obtaining the Monk Epic Weapon. It must take you much effort to achieve that, was it difficult to complete the quest?
Ahmed(A):Thanks so much, yes, it was a little bit hard, not because of the quest steps, but of spending a lot of CPs.
R:I understand, the chance to obtain Spiritual Gem is low, that is a hard part.
A:It is right, but for a monk it is really worth spending them.
R:So how do you like the Divine Pillar?
A:It is really awesome! I like it very much. The look is amazing, also 1.8k more attack it gives is really decent amount.
R:We are glad you like it. You must have tried the new skills of monk, what do you think of them?
A:The skills are very good also, I like the Wrath of Emperor skill, there will be more chance to kill the target if Triple Attack not do the job. The other skill Infernal Echo is very nice and has decent attack, but the targets can avoid it easily because it shows where the targets will be attacked.
R:Yes, other players get some time to react, that's how it is designed. How about Grace of Heaven skill?
A:The 3rd skill Grace of Heaven is really supporting skill in multi-shackle and unshackle, and it also restore stamina, it is really good supporting skill. But it still need 9 level to be fixed so it is a long trip XD
R:I believe you can make it soon. So do the changes about monk affect your gameplay? How?
A:Yes for sure, the way of gaming changes after the epic skill, we make new combo of skills so we can kill the target. Now it depends on luck a little because firstly I use the skill Infernal Echo, if it hits the target, he will have around 3 seconds can't move, during this time I Triple Attack him, if he not die, Wrath of Emperor will do the job. But if the Infernal Echo not attack the target, I can use Whirlwind Kick first and then the Triple attack with Wrath of Emperor.
What I like is that Wrath of Emperor has 205% damage and I'm still level 3, it is really the best skill among the epic skills in my opinion.
I never use a tank monk before and I don't like to be only shackle and unshackle, I use my monk as an attacker and supporter, not only a supporter. So in Awakening of Monk I prefer to get the epic weapon and skills and it is really an upgrade in monk class.
R:Great. So what role do you think Monk will play in CO world after Awakening of Monk?
A:Monk should be both an attacker and a supporter, not like most of CO players use it as only supporter with shield, that is really a injustice for monk. If any one play a strike with monk, he will have the highest strike with aura skills as well as immunity, and the difference in defense not that much, only 200 from ninja and other attack class.
R:So you believe that now monk can also be a good attacker?
A:Yes for sure, I play with my monk as break character, and keep the strike for my ninja account i never use a shield with a monk because if I do that, I will only be a supporting character. It is really awesome that i can kill the target and prevent him from coming to me again by shackling it, and also support my team by increasing their strike and immunity. Why I only support my team when I can be the leader?
R:I agree. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions about Awakening of Monk?
A:Well, the only problem with Divine Pillar is the little attack and I think it will be solved by creating new soul for it, a unique soul for Pillar to increase its attack. It will be really good if the weapon has its own souls like all other weapons.
R:I see, I will forward your opinion.
A:And also I have a suggestion for monks who have epic weapon, use it with frozen fantasy garment, the glory one, the look is amazing, everything is shinning with gold.
