The Taoist Ascending expansion is expected to hit in May, and the CO team is going to break down the brand-new skill and Epic Weapon for the Water Taoists. As the class that excels at restoring and assisting in battles, the arrival of the new skill doesn't only improve her chance of staying alive in battles, but give her the ability to cheat the death, reviving multiple players at the same time!
For the Water Taoists, the Pray skill is a supernatural magic, walking the line between life and death. It gives the Water Taoists the ability to resurrect the dead, so with no question it's the core skill for the Water Taoists. With the new Epic Weapon, the Water Taoists will be allowed to resurrect the dead in bunches. Each time she/he attacks, an Aurora Lotus will emerge above the head. Once five Aurora Lotuses shine, the prestigious magic will absorb energy to revive the dead in range. Then, a team of the undead is born.
As the assistance type class, the Water Taoists have to face the biggest threat from the heroes that are fast and explosive. In the past, the Water Taoists can only flee the frontline with the Divine Hare or Invisibility skills. With the new expansion comes a brand-new weapon, Hossu. Equipping the Hossu at the left hand as a secondary weapon reduces absorbed damage for the Water Taoists, which makes the Water Taoists tougher to beat.
Not just that, those revived by the Water Taoists with a Hossu will be given the state of Stigma, or Magic Shield, or Star of Accuracy, to increase the attack, defense and hit rate. Won't that be something you hope for as a Water Taoist?
