A book without any pages

Left to die on a shelf..

A story that has no words

To be heard by anyone else.

Standing alone against the demons of my mind.

Scattered among my sins for no one to find.

Somewhere, locked up, my conscience remains blind,

Hidden away from all of mankind.

A nightmare that isn't a dream,

But a prison for a lie.

A death that's not part of life,

But reason enough to cry.

A new soul born, kissed in the tears from the sky.

And I'm sure you will find that somewhere deep

Within my subconscious mind the truth resides,

An unbloomed flower, hidden from impure eyes.
